 Posted 12/11/2009   Gosnold is a private, not-for-profit addiction and mental health organization located on Cape Cod.  It operates inpatient/residential programs including acute detoxification, transitional care, a thirty day rehabilitation program, residential programs--one for men; one for women, and eight outpatient clinics.  It is a JCAHO accredited program with a staff of 350 that includes members of all behavioral health disciplines. 

We are seeking an ASAM certified psychiatrist to provide direct services in our inpatient and outpatient programs.  This includes diagnostic evaluations, pharmacotherapy, and consultation with clinical staff for patients with addiction, mental health and dual diagnoses.  Typically this includes assessing and treating patients in inpatient addiction rehabilitation and residential settings, as well as, outpatient clinics.  Patients in the outpatient program include those with primary addiction diagnoses and those with a primary mental health diagnoses. 

Must have knowledge and experience in the treatment of addictions; ability to work in a variety of settings and participate as a member of a clinical team.  Full-time preferred but will also consider part-time position.
