Dr. Heidi Ginter is a board-certified Family Physician and Addiction Medicine specialist who found her passion for treating substance use disorders through providing prenatal care to incarcerated pregnant people nearly 2 decades ago. She currently works at BrightView Health as the State Medical Director overseeing outpatient addiction treatment in 13 locations, including 3 opioid treatment programs. She earned her undergraduate degree at Yale University and her medical degree at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She completed her Family Medicine residency at the Hahnemann Family Health Center at the University of Massachusetts School of Medicine where she is an Assistant Professor.
